High Quality Prints

The highest quality prints of both the rug paintings and the watercolors are available in their actual size for the wall.

The watercolor prints are almost identical to the original painting. Sometimes I am unable to distinguish the watercolor print from the original painting. The rug painting prints, however, are almost identical to the original in color but not in texture, because the original rug is made from sheet vinyl which I textured with latex wall paint and I cannot reproduce the texture in a print.

Original paintings not shown on this web site can be commissioned according to the buyer’s requests.

Fine Art For Children And Parents

I am The Children's Artist. I paint three feet wide by two feet high (3'x 2') rug paintings, (floor mats, which are also wall hangings) of a  mother and daughter elephant walking through the Savannah grassland in Africa or three giant red ladybugs on very green leaves (mama, papa, and baby); panda bears in black-and-white, climbing chocolate colored trees; a ship in red, white and blue guided by a little red tug boat; huge, raspberry, powder blue, tomato red and steel blue tulips with a little guest who is a butterfly, and a train in pastel colors. The engine of the train can be personalized with the child's name painted on it. The original medium of these paintings is water based latex wall paint on sheet vinyl. I drip paint the majority of my latex/vinyl mats.

I also paint in watercolor and these are done in vibrant colors as well. In addition to painting for children, I also paint for parents. These include water color paintings of a cobalt blue cello with red orchids, which is currently in the private collection of Yo Yo Ma (prints on water color paper are available -- see Gallery of Watercolors or Placing Orders), or the colorful gate and arch of an old building, or daisies and lilies in a cobalt blue vase that brighten up a kitchen. My rug paintings of a cheetah and her cub, ("Here Comes the Cheetahs") or a father giraffe and his two sons (Savannah Gentlemen"), or 3 panda bears climbing trees ("Pandamonium") would be dramatic, colorful, and unique beneath the kitchen sink.  All of my paintings are whimsical: fantasy/color/capriciousness.

Two of my paintings for children are on permanent exhibit at the Ronald McDonald House in Tucson. A print of one of these paintings, which is in the medium of watercolor, can be purchased on watercolor paper.

My art was inspired by the intense colors, form and fantasy of the 20th Century artist Marc Chagall, while the drip painting is reminiscent of Jackson Pollock. The mats were created for the floors (or walls) of any room of a home or an office. They are made from water based paints, primer and sealer. They are sturdy and washable and are meant to be walked on. They will light up your home and please both children and their parents.

Thank you for considering my work.
